What you share when you use the plugin
The plugin has no account and asks for no name or email address. This is exactly what happens with each piece of data.
Your photo
What: the photo you put in the chat for a preview, or the public link you give instead.
Why: the only purpose is computing your paint by numbers pattern: size advice, colour count and the preview itself.
Who gets it: our server and the pattern engine that runs on it. We do not forward your photo to OpenAI or Anthropic. The assistant you use already has the photo because you put it in the chat; that storage is covered by the terms of that assistant.
How long: the photo and the generated pattern are kept so your pattern page and any order keep working. Ask us via the contact page and we delete them; mention the pattern page link.
The preview returned to your assistant
A downscaled preview image and the summary (size, colours, areas, price, link) go back to your assistant, so it can show you the result. The full, sharp pattern stays on your pattern page.
Orders
Ordering happens on paintingbynumberstool.com, through the normal checkout. Payment runs over Stripe. What a webshop needs for an order (name, address, email, payment details) is described in the site's own privacy policy. The plugin itself never sees it.
Technical records
Each tool call writes one log line: which tool, which assistant, whether it worked, how long it took. No photo, no conversation content, no name. Abuse protection uses a short-lived counter per connection; the address behind it is hashed and expires within the hour.
Your settings
You revoke the connection in your assistant (ChatGPT: apps settings; Claude: Settings, then Connectors). That stops future access immediately. Deletion of stored photos and patterns goes through contact.
